器物紋

器物とはうつわのこと。また、道具や器具類の事です。器物紋は日常生活で使われていた物が家紋の由来になっています。
海の仕事をしていた人は、櫂や錨の紋を使い幸運を祈願しました。また、武士は扇、剣、矢などを好み尚武のシンボルとなっていました。有名な市松模様も石紋から来ているそうです。
人々は生活や生き様を家紋を使うことで、より意味深いものにしてきたのではないでしょうか。現代の生活や仕事にも新しい紋があると生活にハリが出てきそうです。
